BOC eyes P36M revenue in MICP auction

February 25, 2017 – A public auction expected to raise around P36 million for the Bureau of Customs (BOC) will be held on February 28 at the Manila International ContainerPort (MICP).

Various abandoned or seized goods will be sold to interested bidders in an auction to be conducted by the Auction and Cargo Disposal Division (ACDD) atthe MICP.

The shipments include 58 containers of assorted wooden and steel furniture/storage cabinets, used Lamborghini Murcielago and Ferrari model cars, Mizuno golf bags and various household and food items.

A public viewing of the merchandise and a pre-bid conference were held on February 22 and 23 at the MICP.
